Assistant Principal, Athletics

Mr. Padmanabhan was born and raised around the Lansing, Michigan area before moving to Arizona in 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University, along with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership/ Principalship from Arizona State University.

He began his career in education as a middle school math teacher in the West Valley, where he coached soccer and basketball. Mr. Padmanabhan then began his administrative career as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) at Fees College Preparatory Middle School in the Tempe Elementary School District for 1 year, followed by 2 years as Assistant Principal at Fees. He then was the Assistant Principal/ Athletic Director at Gililland Middle School for 1 year, and has most recently been serving as Principal of Gililland Middle School (now named Mosley Middle School) for the past 3 years.

Mr. Padmanabhan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys spending time at the gym in addition to playing soccer and basketball.
