Assistant Principal, Athletics

Ms. Boggs grew up in Tempe, Arizona and graduated from McClintock High School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from NAU. She later attended Arizona State University where she earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

She began her career as a swim coach and English teacher at Highland High School. She then moved to Desert Vista, spending 16 years teaching English and serving as Department Leader and Academic Coach. Ms. Boggs also worked in the Teaching and Learning Department as the English Content Specialist for four years. She then moved to Marcos to serve as the Assistant Principal of Activities.

Ms. Boggs enjoys spending time with her husband, a Tempe fire captain, and her two sons. She is so happy to be back at Desert Vista.
